Little Gem Auction - Punta El Mezquite, Mexico (at Sundown)

Punta El Mezquite, Mexico (at Sundown), © 2014 Keith Bond, 6 x 9 oil on panel
This little painting was done from a rough plein air sketch done in early December. I was in Mexico gathering reference material for a commission proposal. I loved this scene and had to do it even though it won't be part of the proposal. So, lucky you, you get the chance own it!
This is my latest little gem auction piece. I am going to experiment with this auction and do it a bit differently than my previous auctions. This auction will be a silent auction. No one sees anyone elses bid. Simply bid what you think it is worth to you. No reserve or minimum bids. The highest wins the bid.
I'll outline the auction process here for easy reference:
- You are bidding on the painting UNFRAMED.
- Bids are 'silent' or 'sealed', so no one sees your bid.
- Bid here.
- No minimum bid.
- No reserve price.
- Simply bid what the painting is worth to you.
- Highest bid wins the auction.
- Auction ends Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 5 am MST.
- I will contact winning bidder later that morning.
Hurry and get your bid in before the auction closes.
Oh, by the way, if you decide you want to bid again 'cuz you are afraid someone might outbid you, feel free to bid again.
Also, feel free to make general comments about how much you like the painting in the comments section below :)
But, no bidding in the comments section. Go here to place your bid.
