One of my favorite living artists is landscape painter, Clyde Aspevig.  I stumbled across this video and thought I would share it with you.  The video was made by Trey Ratcliff.

Excellent video - very beautiful scenery and love the horses in the background... the idea of musical notes in the landscape is wonderful and what lovely paintings Clyde gave as a gift of appreciation! I just went to the Clyde Aspevig Exhibition at the Santa Barbara Museum. I was so blown away by his work...
I've seen one or two of his pieces in person before (at the Autry) but seeing such a wonderful collection where I could really LOOK was just awe inspiring!!!
Can't wait to check out the video clip you posted... THANKS.

This proves just how gracious professional artists are... posting an interview featuring Clyde Aspevig on your website/blog is really awesome. It's good for a student of art, such as myself, to have role models who are truly good human beings... and so talented, too! Mr. Aspevig made it all look so easy, with his masterful application of simple brush strokes and 'color notes'. And, Mr. Bond, your recent painting, "At Rest", captured my attention in a big way... simply beautiful colors! I admire both of you so much. Thank you for guiding a fledgling from afar!

Johannes vloothuis put me onto this website during one of his workshops. I'd like to find out where your paintings are, Keith. As a budding artist, I am impressed by all artists of Aspevigs quality.

As a board member of the Huntington Beach Art League, I would like to purchase a copy of your instructional DVD on plain air painting for our members to view. Apparently it is sold out on the Plein Air magazine website and I'm wondering if it will be available for purchase soon.

Thank you for any help or information you can supply.

Nancy Minear
