As I set up my easel to paint, I realized that I had forgotten my paint thinner. A long drive to the nearest store, and wanting to capture this scene, I was forced to paint the enire painting with a palette knife. It was challenging, but fun. I learned a lot, and actually captured the important elements of the scene.
