My family was driving from St. George, Utah to our home in Logan, Utah last winter. The day was overcast and dreary. An occasional snow flurry as well. As we neared the small town of Nephi, the setting sun broke through the clouds casting its warm glow on the snow covered Mt. Nebo. This mountain is the highest (and southern-most) peak along the Wasatch Front Range of Northern Utah. I took a photo while my wife was driving. With 4 children, freeway traffic, and feeling a little under the weather, I was not able to do a plein air study.
