What began as a yearlong project (a couple years ago) in which I put more emphasis on plein air painting has morphed somewhat.  I had titled the project"An Interview With Nature" because of the way I was exploring nature through my plein air work.  As I work from life, I seek to understand nature.  I aks her questions.  Slowly she reveals herself to me.  I realized that all of my plein air work has always had and continues to have this same focus and purpose.  Therefore, I now have included all of my plein air work in this porfolio.  As I am painting en plein air, I am having a discussion - an interview with nature.

Sold Studio Paintings

This collection began as simple studies or exercises which focus on developing specific technical skills.  I was so delighted with the resulting gems, that I began to offer the best ones for sale.  For more background on the project visit this blog post.
