Carole Cooke
I first met Carole on a pack trip to the High Sierras several years ago. We have met up occassionally at various shows over the years. I am fortunate enough to own one of her fine paintings (and she owns a couple of mine).

Clyde Aspevig
One of the greatest landscape painters alive. His work has tremendously influenced my work.

John Hughes
John is one of the most humble artists I know. He is a tremendous landscape artist who is highly under-recognized. Several years ago, I happened to see him painting along the Snake River near the Tetons in Wyoming. Of course I had to introduce myself. When I moved back to Utah a fews years later,we became better acquainted.

Joseph Alleman
I shared a studio space with Joseph a few years ago. He is a master watercolorist. He has a keen sense of design.

Matt Smith
Matt Smith is one of the best plein air painters working today. He is masterful at capturing the feel of the lanscape. I was fortunate enough to study with him several years ago. He steered me in the right direction at a critical point in my development. He has been the greatest influence in my work.

Mian Situ
I first met Mian while working at a fine art gallery in Texas. I was impressed with his skill as well as his humility. I was fortunate enough to spend a week with him (and 10 others) during a week pack trip to the High Sierras several years ago. Since then, he has become one of the most sought after artists of our time.

Robert Coombs
I have admired Robert's art for a long time. His work is genuine. Although he lives in my hometown of Logan, Utah, I only recently met him (and now I have moved away to Colorado).
